Plant Me Ice Lollies – A Sustainable Innovation in Collaboration with the Eden Project

With a passion for sustainability, I wanted to create a product that would blend eco-consciousness with a fun, interactive experience. In collaboration with the Eden Project in Devon, I developed Plant Me Ice Lollies, an innovative product designed for eco-friendly spaces and families eager to make a positive environmental impact.

The concept is simple: each ice lolly stick contains a seed that can be planted once the lolly is consumed. Made from biodegradable materials, the sticks are not only environmentally friendly but also serve a practical purpose by allowing users to grow herbs like coriander, sage, mint etc. The design uses sustainable packaging that educates consumers on climate change and the importance of reducing waste.

The Plant Me Ice Lollies are designed to offer both a refreshing treat and an opportunity for children and families to engage with sustainability in a hands-on way. By collaborating with the Eden Project, a leading environmental organisation, the product is placed in an ideal setting where visitors are already passionate about protecting the planet.

This innovative project turns what would typically be waste into something valuable, encouraging a new generation to think critically about their environmental impact while enjoying a simple, fun product.
